Pokémon Colour By Numbers Book Review

It's Pokémon Colour By Numbers. Really that's all I should need to say.

Before this book, I didn't have much interest in colouring. My Wife had started colouring, colour by numbers on her TikTok channel, and supported her, and then she purchased this book for me.

It's a Pokémon Colour By Numbers.

And now I have 6 colour by numbers books. But let's talk about this Pokémon book shall we. 50 images to colour, some of them are double pages, (unless you've done a poster) they're huge.

As of writing this, I've completed 8 pages in this book, 7 of which I've really enjoyed doing. Wobbuffet for me, just had too much of a single colour, which was a little tedious. All the others had incredible backgrounds, and a bit more detail in the characters. But honestly, the backgrounds are what this book is about, they're incredible. They offer a lot of opportunity to get a little creative and make each piece your own as well.

With this being one of the newer books, white areas now no longer have the patterns going through them, which gives you the opportunity to not have to colour them in, unless you want to make them pop a little more.

What I also like about this colour by numbers book, is the colour charts - apart from double pages - they give you a separate page next to each image to try matching different colours, and a little space to write your chosen colour code, I've not come across another colour by numbers book that has this yet. But it's a really nice feature.

Possibly the only downside is, I do feel pressured to makesure the colour codes for the characters is accurate, as Pokémon are fairly recognisable and would be instantly able to spot an "inaccurate" colour.
